2010 Wind Energy Conference

In April 2010, Iowa State University co-hosted a second wind energy symposium in conjunction with the Iowa Alliance for Wind Innovation and Novel Development (IAWIND) and Iowa Wind Energy Association’s (IWEA) annual meeting and conference at Scheman Conference Center in Ames, Iowa. The conference provided updates on trends in wind energy technology, workforce development, and policy changes that affect the entire wind industry, as well as featured national and international speakers from industry, academia, and the public sector.
